Dr. Alexander Di Stante, a California-based general surgeon, is board-certified and has significant experience in both surgery and critical care surgery. He is licensed to practice in California, Florida and Pennsylvania. He brings his experience to each patient.
Dr. Di Stante graduated with his medical degree from Ponce Medical School (1991). He completed his general surgery residency at Western Reserve Health Education/NEOMED and UPMC Medical Education in Harrisburg then subsequently completed a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at the University of California, Irvine. This training in fellowship further enhanced his ability to take care of complex surgical patients in critical care settings.
For the span of his career, Dr. Di Stante has delivered care for his patients through an evidence-based approach to surgery. His training and completion of board certification through the American Board of Surgery understands that patients should receive care adhering to high levels of safety, excellence in procedure, and post-operative care.
