About Alfonso Gonzalez Cepeda, MD

Dr. Alfonso Gonzalez Cepeda, MD, is a highly regarded plastic and reconstructive surgeon who has been active in aesthetic and reconstructive surgical procedures for more than forty years. He obtained his medical degree from the Independent University of Yucatan, Mexico, in 1979 and underwent extensive residencies in General Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Hospital Dr. Manuel Gea González in Mexico City. Dr. Gonzalez Cepeda also took part in fellowships with Dr. José Guerrero in Guadalajara and Professor Mülbahuer in Munich, Germany.

He is certified and re-certified by the Mexican Council of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and has received recognition internationally for his cosmetic and reconstructive skills. Dr. Gonzalez Cepeda has also been a director of several surgical centers, including the Southeast Esthetic & Reconstructive Plastic Surgery Clinic, and founder/director of Perfection Esthetic Surgery & Medical Spa since 2003.

He is an active member of several influential professional organizations, including the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, ASAPS, and the Latin American Federation of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as being part of many regional Mexican surgical colleges. He is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, and is a dedicated innovator, committing himself to excellence in patient safety, providing personalized service to each client both in Mexico and abroad.
