Biography

Dr. Barry M. Zide, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and Professor of Plastic Surgery at NYU Grossman School of Medicine in New York City. He earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in 1973 before completing surgical training at Stanford University Hospital and Clinics and plastic surgery residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals. He subsequently completed fellowships in Head and Neck Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and Craniofacial Surgery at NYU Medical Center.

Dr. Zide’s clinical expertise includes reconstructive plastic surgery, pediatric craniofacial surgery, melanoma, hemangiomas, vascular malformations and birthmarks, and cosmetic procedures involving the face, lips, and chin. His areas of cosmetic expertise also include facelift procedures and Kybella treatments. He is affiliated with NYU Langone Health – Tisch Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital. His primary practice location is NYU Langone Plastic Surgery Associates at 222 East 41st Street, New York, NY 10017.
