Biography

Dr. Barbara Persons (M.D. FACS) is a cosmetic and reconstructive surgery practitioner located in Lafayette, Brentwood, Walnut Creek, and the Bay Area of San Francisco. One of the surgeries she went through was a crucial turning point in her life. A tragic car accident when she was 25 had a big impact on her later life. During the recovery process, she experienced 18 reconstructive surgeries and decided to dedicate her career towards helping reconnective therapy patients.

After she graduated from University of Vermont College of Medicine, she completed her surgical training at Davis University and University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she obtained a degree and residency in general surgery. Next came the craniofacial and breast surgery fellowships, where she completed her studies in cooperation with multiple hospitals. After finishing plastic surgery residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, she became chief plastic resident. Her practice includes cosmetic surgery (breast augmentation, tummy tuck, eyelids surgery, face lift, rhinoplasty, etc.) and many non-surgical procedures (BOTOX injection and dermal fillers).
