Biography

Dr. Baotram Tran, MD is a highly qualified double board-certified plastic surgeon with over 15 years of surgical experience. A Cornell University-trained engineer turned doctor, Dr. Tran is able to combine skills from both fields. She received her MD degree from Drexel University as well as advanced training in general and plastic surgery at Wright State University and Indiana University.

As a professor of practice at the University of Miami, Dr. Tran has trained and mentored medical students specializing in plastic surgery. Her academic and professional experience gave her the knowledge needed for her comprehensive approach to aesthetic procedures. As a female Asian surgeon, Dr. Tran is skilled in providing fair treatment of all patients regardless of their ethnicity, age, sex, or medical history. She specializes in many surgical techniques involving both the face and the body such as Asian eyelid surgery, otoplasty, body contouring, breast surgery, and tummy tucks.
