Dr. Bao Ngoc N. Tran, M.D. is a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an active member of The Aesthetic Society, where she has distinguished herself as an expert at performing advanced aesthetic procedures involving the breast, body, and face. Her area of expertise includes advanced facial rejuvenation techniques such as the deep plane facelift, fat grafting to the face, correction of festooning, and periorbital rejuvenation.
Dr. Tran began her educational path in medicine at UC Los Angeles (UCLA), graduating with honors in double majors of Physiological Science and Anthropology. In 2014, she received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Her training as a surgeon continued with an internship at New York Presbyterian Hospital and ultimately as Chief Resident during her Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
Prior to finishing her residency, she also completed a fellowship as an NIH Research Fellow at Harvard’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Tran is committed to the advancement of Plastic Surgery through academic works, having authored over 40 publications and book chapters that have undergone peer-review.
