About Ayhan Isik Erdal, MD

Ayhan Işık Erdal, MD, is an associate professor and plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic surgery as well as reconstructive surgery. He has an extensive amount of clinical and academic knowledge related to his specialty area. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine with his medical degree (English Medicine Program) and graduated with Honours. In 2019, he completed his residency training program in Plastic Surgery, Reconstructive Surgery, and Cosmetic Surgery at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine.

In 2018, Dr. Erdal worked as an International Clinical Observer for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York, after which he completed his mandatory state service in Erzurum. Dr. Erdal successfully passed board examinations in Brussels and İzmir in 2018-2020, thus obtaining the title of Fellow (FEBOPRAS) of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. In 2020, he obtained board certification from the Turkish Society of Plastic Surgery, Reconstructive Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr. Erdal has received several Award recognitions for Academic presentations, including 1st and 2nd prizes at the Turkish Society of Plastic Surgery, Reconstructive Surgery, and Cosmetic Surgery Specialist Research Competition held in 2021. Dr. Erdal has authored more than 30 articles that have been published in international peer-reviewed journals. He worked as a faculty member at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine between 2022 and 2025, where he received the title of Associate Professor in 2024, and has a private practice in Istanbul, where he treats patients.
