About Ashley Gordon, MD, FACS

Ashley Gordon, MD, FACS, is a certified plastic surgeon trained in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. She was born in Louisiana and received her undergraduate degree from Tulane University. After graduating from Tulane, she moved to New Orleans and attended LSU School of Medicine, where she received her medical degree. After completing a general surgery internship at St Vincent’s Hospital in NYC, she went on to do her surgical training at St. Vincent’s Hospital.

During this time, Dr. Gordon was chosen to participate in a Postdoctoral Fellowship at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. In this role, she conducted extensive research in the areas of fetal surgery, plastic surgery, and non-surgical methods of repairing wounds. Her research has won many national awards and has been published in major medical journals. After completing her general surgery residency at St Vincent’s, she completed a Plastics Residency at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and an Aesthetic/Occuplastics Fellowship at Paces Plastics Surgery.

Dr. Gordon is currently certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the ACS. She belongs to multiple professional organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Due to her significant contributions to the field of surgery and her continuing contributions to education and professional development, Dr. Gordon has received numerous awards from her peers and is frequently invited to give lectures and teach courses.
