About Arturo Munoz Meza, MD

Dr. Arturo Muñoz Meza, MD, has been a plastic surgeon for over 20 years, specializing in aesthetic or cosmetic, and reconstructive surgery. He underwent four years of training in general surgery through a trauma center and a general hospital, where he participated in Guatemala’s Social Security postgraduate training program. He completed his training in Plastic Surgery at the Instituto Jalisciense de Cirugía Plástica y Reconstructiva “Dr. José Guerrerosantos”, which is affiliated with the University of Guadalajara, Mexico’s premier training program for plastic surgeons on a global scale.

Dr. Muñoz Meza’s primary objective is to deliver safe, natural, and long-lasting results from the wide-ranging elective procedures available to patients needing cosmetic surgery. To achieve this end, he has been accredited by several international Plastic Surgery Organizations. He places a high priority on patient care/safety as one of the primary components of his medical practice.

Consultations and Surgical procedures are conducted in Hospital Angeles Tijuana, one of the best established Hospital Networks in Mexico. Hospital Angeles Tijuana has modern operating rooms, recovery areas, Intensive Care Facilities, and advanced medical technology that are fully certified to the fullest extent possible. We may also perform Surgery in other first-level hospitals in the region.

Dr. Muñoz Meza regularly provides care for patients from the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Within his practice, he provides coordinated perioperative support (efforts made to support a patient before and after surgery), transportation to/from the hospital for surgery, and post-operative care.
