Dr. Arthur J. vonWerssowetz II, MD, FACS, is an accomplished, board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with over 4 decades of experience in aesthetics and cosmetic medicine. He was born and raised in a medical family and recognized his interest in the field of medicine very early in life. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, after which he went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, located in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. vonWerssowetz completed his graduate medical education at UT-Erlanger Medical Center and then continued on to complete his residency training specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Once he finished his medical training process, he helped establish Associates in Plastic Surgery, where he was the co-founder as well as the President of the organization until 2015. Throughout Dr. vonWerssowetz’s career, he has been acknowledged for his commitment, with an emphasis placed on cosmetic procedures that rejuvenate and restore the natural beauty of the face and reverse the effects of aging on the face. He performs work using both unparalleled technical skills and an artistic approach, resulting in an extremely high-quality natural appearance.
