About Arthur G. Handal, MD, FACS

Dr. Arthur G. Handal, MD, FACS has over 30 years of experience in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He specializes in the field of Facial Plastic Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Handal’s interest in the practice of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery began with his General Surgery Residency at State University of New York. He was accepted early into the SUNY/Kings County Medical Center’s Plastics Program and completed advanced training through SUNY/Kings County Medical Center. He completed fellowships in Hand Surgery at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut and Aesthetic Surgery in conjunction with the University of Miami.

Dr. Handal has continued his dedication to becoming a leader in Cosmetic Surgery throughout his career. He is a published author and continues to attend both National and International Plastic Surgery Conferences to keep himself informed of the newest advancements in Cosmetic Surgery.

All procedures performed by Dr. Handal are done at Sanctuary Surgical Center, an Ambulatory Surgery Center licensed by the Board of Medicine, and he maintains the highest levels of Patient Safety and Care. Dr. Handal is an active member of several Professional Organizations, including American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
