About Arthur Dean Jabs, MD, PhD, FACS

Arthur Dean Jabs, MD, PhD, FACS, a board-certified plastic surgeon with over 30 years of experience in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, was trained at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. He has been in private practice since 1989 and serves patients throughout the Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia area and internationally. Dr. Jabs is especially known for his expertise in facial rejuvenation techniques, including deep plane facelifts, eyelid surgery, and natural-looking cosmetic enhancements.

As a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Jabs is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Due to the excellence of his work and his compassionate approach to patient care, Dr. Jabs was named one of the best plastic surgeons by Washingtonian, Bethesda and Northern Virginia magazines, and he is recognized as one of America’s Top Surgeons.

Along with providing clinical care, Dr. Jabs has held the positions of President of the National Capital Society of Plastic Surgeons and Chairman of the Plastic Surgery Department at Johns Hopkins Suburban Hospital. He has written numerous scientific articles, continues to teach medical students and residents, and participates in many international charitable medical missions.
