About Antoine A. Hallak, MD, FACS

Dr. Antoine A. Hallak, a board-certified plastic surgeon by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, underwent rigorous training in both general surgery and aesthetic (or cosmetic) reconstructive surgeries. This training was completed via a General Surgery Residency program at Staten Island University Hospital located in New York City and a specialization in Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery at McGill University in Montreal, located in Canada.

After completing this extensive training, Dr.Hallak worked as a Plastic Surgeon for several years in New York City until he moved to Southern California so that he could be nearer to his family. Currently, Dr.Hallak has privileges to practice medicine at Palomar Pomerado Health, where he also serves as the Representative of the Plastic Surgery Subsection within the Department of Surgery. Additionally, he has privileges to perform surgical procedures at Scripps Memorial La Jolla and Tri-City Medical Center, among other area surgery centers.

Dr.Hallak is well-known for his exceptional surgical abilities, dedication to providing patient-centric healthcare, and strong leadership qualities. He was voted “Physician of the Year” by the Operating Room personnel at Pomerado Hospital. Dr. Hallak is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the San Diego Plastic Surgery Society, and the San Diego County Medical Society and has achieved the title of Fellow in the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
