About Anthony N. LaBruna, MD

Anthony N. LaBruna, MD, FACS, is the Director of Manhattan Plastic Surgery and is recognized nationally as a leader in reconstructive surgery and cosmetics (cosmetic surgery). He holds two Academic Appointments at Weill Cornell Medical College: Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology.

Dr. LaBruna graduated from Weill Cornell University with a Medical Degree (MD) and Honors in Research. He is Board Certified in both Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology.

Dr. LaBruna has continued to be recognized for his excellence, having been named one of America’s Top Doctors by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. for several consecutive years. He was previously the Director of Facial Plastic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College, Department of Otolaryngology, for over 10 years.

Dr. LaBruna is also a respected educator and lecturer on reconstructive and cosmetic surgical techniques, with both national and international presentations on the subject. He has served as an examiner for the Otolaryngology Board of National Examiners and participated in developing exam questions for the Plastic Surgery Board Exam by the National Board of Medical Examiners.

In addition to his clinical and academic accomplishments, Dr. LaBruna has been an Honorary Police and Fire Surgeon.
