About Anthony D. Bruno, MD

Dr. Anthony D. Bruno II is a board-certified plastic surgeon and reconstructive surgeon with more than 20 years of experience working with patients in Northeastern Pennsylvania. He graduated from the University of Scranton as Magna Cum Laude and then attended Creighton University School of Medicine, where he was awarded Most Outstanding Student in Surgery.

Dr. Bruno completed his 6 years of general surgery training at Westchester Medical Center and Creighton University Medical Centre, followed by advanced training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Duke University. He is dual-boarded by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and he is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

After completing his residency in 2007, he returned to Northeastern Pennsylvania, serving the community he grew up. He was instrumental in establishing a Plastic Surgery Department at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center during his time there. After achieving substantial success, he decided to start a private practice that would allow him to provide more personalized patient-centered care.

Dr. Bruno has extensive knowledge in cosmetic and complex reconstructive surgery and has received many awards for patient satisfaction in his career. He is strongly committed to serving his community by remaining active in charitable organizations, and he has received an award for his volunteerism.
