About Anthony Buglino, DO

Dr. Anthony Buglino is an experienced plastic and reconstructive surgeon who bases his practice on a patient-centered, holistic approach to care. He received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL, followed by his residency in general surgery at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, which is affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College. As a chief resident, he had extensive training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell during his residency.

Additionally, Dr. Buglino completed a competitive fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, one of the few such programs offered in the country. His educational background includes clinical training at Jefferson University Hospital, Hahnemann Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, as well as numerous other world-famous institutions.

Dr. Buglino is among the few Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine actively engaged in the practice of plastic surgery. He believes in whole-person care and includes prevention, nutrition, and individualized treatment planning as part of each patient’s surgical journey. He is extremely committed to educating his patients about all aspects of their care and takes the necessary steps to ensure patient safety, continuity of care, and follow-up during all stages of the recovery phase. Dr. Buglino is very involved in many professional medical organizations, devotes time to the community, and provides compassionate, safety-centered care to all of his patients.
