About Andrew T. Cohen, MD, FACS

Board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Andrew T. Cohen was a Clinical Chief of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Division of Plastic Surgery on two separate occasions, and is a Southern California native. At his Encino office, he provides patients with complete aesthetic surgical options in his state-licensed surgical facility, which is accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities.

Dr. Cohen completed his General Surgery residency at Loma Linda University, as well as a residency in plastic surgery at Loma Linda University. As part of his education, Dr. Cohen participated in several advanced training programs, including a fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery and Oculoplastic Surgery with top-rated surgeons from around the world, while living in Atlanta.

Growing up in a family that includes many surgeons, Dr. Cohen was influenced from an early age by his father’s passion for patient care and surgical skill. Today, Dr. Cohen is known as a plastic surgeon whose attention to detail, compassionate demeanor, and surgical technique embody these values. Among Dr. Cohen’s areas of specialty are facial rejuvenation, eyelid restoration, body contouring, breast augmentation, liposuction, and tummy tucks.

Dr. Cohen actively participates in academic plastic surgery through national and international presentations, publications, and membership in various professional organizations. Dr. Cohen has also participated in multiple volunteer surgical missions to Argentina to provide children with lip and palate reconstruction surgeries and opportunities for a brighter future.

Dr. Cohen is committed to creating a safe, beautiful, and individualized surgical experience for all of his patients and provides the highest level of surgical oversight from the first consultation through patient discharge from the surgical center.
