About Andres G. Sarraga, MD, FACS

Dr. Andres Sarraga, FACS, is an exceptionally skilled aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgeon. He is respected as a technically sound surgeon with a strong artistic vision, as well as compassionate patient care. He was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and he began developing a passion for surgery at a very young age. During the summers, Dr. Sarraga would volunteer in operating rooms, even prior to enrolling in medical school.

Dr. Sarraga graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine with numerous awards, including membership into Alpha Omega Alpha and ranking in the top 10% of his class. He completed a full residency program in General Surgery at The University of Puerto Rico, where he received the Intern of the Year Award and went on to be the Administrative Chief Resident. After completing his General Surgery residency, Dr. Sarraga became Board Certified in General Surgery and completed his residency in Plastic Surgery at The University of Massachusetts, where he again served as Administrative Chief Resident. As part of his Plastic Surgery training, Dr. Sarraga trained with some of the top aesthetic surgeons in Boston. He gained significant experience and skill in Facial Surgery, including Rhinoplasty, Body Contouring, and Fat Grafting Techniques.

His training in fat grafting research and his Fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery helped him develop his knowledge and skills with this very complicated area of eyelid/upper face rejuvenation. He moved to South Florida, where he has established himself as a leader in the field by providing refined, natural results and high-quality, individualized care that enhances the confidence of his patients.
