Anahita Azharian, D.O., is a reconstructive and plastic surgery specialist. Her best quality as a surgeon is her patient-centred philosophy, as well as the clinical excellence she strives for.
Dr. Azharian graduated with her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and also has a Master’s degree in Public Health with an emphasis on Infectious Diseases and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Florida.
Dr. Azharian completed her General Surgery residency at Mercy Suburban Hospital/Mercy Catholic Medical Centre located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, followed by a prestigious Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Azharian trained with numerous reputable Plastic Surgeons throughout the Philadelphia and New York metropolitan areas during her Fellowship. After completing her Fellowship training, Dr. Azharian gained further insight by participating in numerous International Medical Missions that helped provide surgical care to disadvantaged individuals living outside of the United States prior to returning to New York City for a newly created staff position.
As she eventually made the decision to go back to her hometown of Tampa, she started Magnolia Plastic Surgery Centre, which is a boutique-focused facility centred on safety, empathy, and individualised care. Because Dr. Azharian is one of the few female plastic surgeons practising in the Tampa Bay Region, she performs a comprehensive range of cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries (all of which are done at an accredited surgical facility).
Dr. Azharian is also a member of various professional organisations, and she speaks both English and Farsi fluently. She has published many peer-reviewed articles as well.
