About Amer A. Saba, MD

Dr. Amer Saba, an accredited plastic surgeon, has completed extensive training in plastic surgery. His integrated plastics training was completed at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where he trained from 2000 to 2002. Before starting his integrated plastics training, Dr. Saba completed his general surgery residency at North Oakland Medical Center from 1995 to 2000. He earned his MD at Damascus University Faculty of Medicine in 1992. Dr. Saba has been granted board certification by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, and he holds active licenses to provide medical services in Washington, District of Columbia; Virginia; and Pennsylvania.

Dr. Saba is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of multiple professional organizations related to plastic surgery, most notably the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS). Dr Saba’s commitment is evidenced by the numerous peer-reviewed scientific studies that he has authored on the topics of wound healing, abdominoplasty and tendon repair, as well as through his previous surgical work. His studies have been cited extensively and demonstrate his expertise in both clinical practice and the advancement of the field of plastic surgery.
