About Alper Ural, MD, FEBOPRAS

Dr. Alper Ural, MD, FEBOPRAS, is an accomplished aesthetic plastic and reconstructive surgeon with many years of training and experience. He specializes in facial aesthetic surgery (rhinoplasty, breast surgery, and body contouring) and is regarded as an expert within this subspecialty.

Dr. Ural was born in 1985 in Ankara, Turkey. He began his educational career by completing elementary school (Ankara Hamdullah Suphi Primary School) and then high school (Nermin Mehmet Çekiç Anatolian High School) before matriculating to medical school at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2003. While there, Dr. Ural excelled in all areas of study and received a scholarship to complete General Surgery training at Kaunas Medical Faculty Hospital in Lithuania (2007). He graduated from Gazi University with a medical degree in 2009.

Dr. Ural completed his plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery residency at Karadeniz Technical University in 2015. He was awarded the Turkish Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Proficiency Certificate (Hacettepe University) in the same year. After finishing his residency at Karadeniz Technical University, he took a position at Kanuni Training and Research Hospital. He was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2017 and became an Associate Professor in 2021.

Dr. Ural has authored 32 international and 6 national publications and contributed to 3 scientific book chapters; he has a great interest in furthering the advance of science, both academic and surgical. He is well known for his patient-centred approach and for achieving very natural-looking results through his meticulous surgical techniques. Dr. Ural is married and has 1 child.
