About Aline Rau, MD

Dr. Aline Rau, MD, is a skilled aesthetic plastic surgeon and the founder of Amavi Aesthetic Surgery in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Rau’s philosophy is to help patients enhance their appearance and self-confidence through individualized, compassionate care. Since Dr. Rau believes that aesthetic decisions are deeply personal, she places a strong emphasis on trust, authenticity, and communication, so each patient feels truly heard and cared for throughout their journey.

Dr. Rau has a strong foundation in surgical excellence, having completed her General Surgery and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery training at Johns Hopkins University and the University of Colorado, where she was a Chief Resident. She completed a prestigious aesthetic surgery fellowship with Dr. Luis Rios, Jr., which helped to solidify her expertise through advanced training in facial, breast, and body aesthetic procedures, and innovative nonsurgical procedures.

Dr. Rau’s emphasis on quality is evident through her various honors, including the Eiseman Research Award in Basic Science, Mountain West Society of Plastic Surgeons’ Abstract of the Year, and induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.

In addition to her surgical accomplishments, Dr. Rau is a committed wife and mother of two children and dog mom to her Akita Kuma and Golden Retriever Powder. She enjoys gardening, camping and socializing with close friends, which helps her to stay grounded and improve her ability to connect with patients.
