About Ali Mosharrafa, MD

Dr. Ali Mosharrafa, M.D., is a board-certified plastic surgeon providing patient care in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and surrounding areas in Arizona. He graduated with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, obtained his medical degree, and completed both General Surgery and Plastic Surgery residencies at Baylor College of Medicine, where he was trained by respected experts in the field, such as Dr. Frank Gerow, inventor of the breast implant. This exposure sparked his lifelong interest in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast.

Dr. Mosharrafa is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and currently serves as the Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital, and has had his work published in the Journal of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. He is well known for developing new techniques for breast reconstruction.

Dr. Mosharrafa has been in practice since 1996, launching a plastic surgery practice that ranks as one of the best in Arizona, providing state-of-the-art aesthetic medicine in facial aesthetics, breast enhancement, body contouring, and advanced liposuction. The Phoenix-based office is also home to the well-known Mosharrafa Skin Rejuvenation Center.

He has earned the Phoenix Magazine “Top Docs” award 26 times in his career, and has been named as one of America’s Best Plastic Surgeons by Newsweek (2023), recognized for his basic practice philosophy of achieving natural and balanced aesthetic results that build confidence by enhancing each patient’s natural beauty.
