About Ali Hassan, MD

Dr. K. Ali Hassan, MD, FACS, is a skilled plastic and reconstructive and maxillofacial surgeon and the proud owner of over 35 years of clinical practice. Dr. Hassan earned his medical degree and education at Dow Medical College, which was followed by surgical education, training, and mentorship at Kings County Hospital Center, Downstate Medical Center, and Nassau County Medical Center. He has many accomplishments, such as serving as a board-certified member of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and earning a Fellowship with the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Hassan has made contributions to both clinical practice and the future advancement of the field, including conducting research and delivering publications. Dr. Hassan has presented at multiple national meetings on hepatic metastases. Dr. Hassan has served in a multitude of leadership roles, including Chief of Plastic Surgery at Mercy Medical Center, as well as being on Staff at several reputable hospitals in New York.

Dr. Hassan engages in numerous professional organizations, including the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the NY Regional Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons, and the Lipoplasty Society of North America.
