About Alexis L. Parcells, MD

Dr. Alexis L. Parcells, MD, is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon in Manhattan and Monmouth County, New Jersey. She created Parcells Plastic Surgery and SUNNIE, a clean, medical-grade skincare line for women who want to feel confident in their own skin. As a mom in her 30s, Dr. Parcells can personally relate to the physiological and emotional changes that women go through, which influences her patient-centered and empathic approach to patient care.

Her clinical and surgical specialties include: breast lifts, reductions, implant revisions, breast reconstructions, mommy makeovers, liposuction, tummy tucks, labiaplasty, and upper eyelid lifts. Dr. Parcells is highly dedicated to patients suffering from breast cancer and utilizes the most advanced techniques to reconstruct patients’ breasts after lumpectomy or mastectomy to restore their sense of wholeness. In support of her mission, Dr. Parcells also founded BraveBras.org, which is a resource to educate women on their reconstructive options.

Dr. Parcells is also an active volunteer with several breast cancer organizations, including The Breasties, and serves as a clinical instructor at Rutgers RWJ Barnabas Health, where she has been recognized with two Golden Apple nominations for excellence in teaching.

Her work has been featured in Elle, InStyle, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Refinery29, Women’s Health, etc. Dr. Parcells has been recognized for her skill and dedication and was awarded a 2021 –2022 New Jersey Top Doc distinction, which ranks her among the top 1% of all physicians in New Jersey.
