About Alexandra Hart, MD

Alexandra Hart, MD, is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon known for her skill and compassion in patient care. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia and of Emory University, where she received her medical degree and completed her Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery residency. Throughout her residency, Dr. Hart obtained the highest score on the in-service exam, was the Administrative Chief Resident, and received multiple research awards, including the Glen Family Research Pilot Grant and Most Resident Research Activities Award , twice.

Dr. Hart is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), The Aesthetic Society®, the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and the Georgia Society of Plastic Surgeons. She serves a leadership role as Candidate Committee Chair in the Southeastern Society, where she created a review course for candidates for the American Board of Plastic Surgery examination. She has also received honors for her professional excellence with Castle Connolly® Top Doctor, Atlanta Magazine Top Doctor, and one of Atlanta’s Top Breast Surgeons.

At the Plastic Surgery Group of Atlanta, Dr. Hart offers procedures such as facial fat transfer, breast reconstruction revision, tummy tuck surgery, and nonsurgical options such as cellulite reduction and injectables. The foundation of Dr. Hart’s practice is based on safety, compassionate care, and providing optimal support to achieve every patient’s aesthetic goals.
