Dr. Alexander Ramírez Folleco, MD, is a highly trained plastic, aesthetic, maxillofacial, and hand surgeon practicing in Cali, Colombia. He graduated with a medical degree in 2003 from Universidad del Valle, where he also completed his residency in Plastic Surgery, Aesthetic, Maxillofacial and Hand Surgery. Interested in advanced reconstructive techniques, he proceeded to complete a Master in Reconstructive Microsurgery in Barcelona and continued to cultivate his interests during international fellowships, where he gained more experience in different topics: microsurgical limb reconstruction in Finland, flap dissection cadaver labs in Paris, head and neck microsurgical reconstruction at Gustave Roussy Cancer Institute, and microsurgery at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan.
