About Alexander Facque, MD

Dr. Alexander Facque, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon whose subspecialty is gender-affirming care. He has extensive experience in performing facial surgery, top surgery and body contouring focused on gender. As a member of the queer community, Dr. Facque is passionate about delivering affirming, compassionate, and quality surgical care for trans, nonbinary, and gender diverse patients.

Dr. Facque performs a broad spectrum of procedures, including chest reconstruction (top surgery), breast reduction, breast augmentation, facial surgery, and body contouring (liposuction, fat grafting, and abdominoplasty). Dr. Facque and the team pride themselves on patient-centered care, customizing each procedure according to the patient’s goals, preferences, and overall well-being.

Dr. Facque received his medical degree from the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, and completed his plastic surgery residency at the Icahn School of Medicine, where he also completed a Gender Surgery Fellowship at Weiss Memorial Hospital with Dr. Loren Schecter.

He is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Additionally, he is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Medical Association. He was honored for academic excellence when he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and served as his medical school class valedictorian.
