About Alex Neusner, MD

Alexander Neusner, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon practicing in Los Angeles who specializes in facial aesthetics, reconstructive surgery, and complete transformations of the body. Acknowledged for his kind demeanor and high attention to detail, Dr. Neusner focuses on providing a natural and balanced result that reflects the desires of the individual patient.

Dr. Neusner received a Bachelor of Science degree from Brown University and his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed a residency in general surgery at Temple University Hospital, followed by a residency in plastic surgery at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, which included experience with laparoscopy and burns. He then completed a fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at the Christine M. Kleinert Institute, which prepared him with additional skills to view basic and complex problems with a full-scope vision for cosmetic and reconstructive procedures.

As a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Aesthetic Society, and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, Dr. Neusner is an experienced surgeon with numerous published articles under his name, and he has received peer awards as a Super Doctor.

Originally from Connecticut, he is currently an associate surgeon with Barrett Plastic Surgery, providing top-notch care and service in Los Angeles. Outside of the operating room, he loves paddleboarding, hiking, sampling the exciting food options in Los Angeles, and spending time with his dad Rigatoni (his dachshund) and family. His training, creativity, and desire to deliver patient-centered care make him a particularly good choice for renovations.
