Dr. Alex Cheah is a talented plastic surgeon who focuses on aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and body. He is ABS Board Certified and ABPS Board Eligible and is known for his refined surgical technique, exactingly meticulous demeanor, and artistic eye. He subscribes to a less-is-more philosophy and believes that aesthetic surgery should strategically enhance each patient’s natural beauty while maintaining balance and harmony. Dr. Cheah’s approach to every step of each patient’s journey is both calm and supportive, which allows him to build a deep trust and respect with his patients and colleagues.
Dr. Cheah is originally from Southern California and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California in where he graduated with departmental honors and honors as a Presidential Scholar. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine with a medical degree, followed by an extensive 5-year general surgery residency at INOVA Fairfax, with certification by the American Board of Surgery. His outstanding skills earned him a position at UT Southwestern, the top plastic surgery residency in the country, where he trained with some of the best names in aesthetic surgery.
He has presented award-winning research, including work at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and published in premier journals, including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Aesthetic Surgery Journal. Outside of the operating room, he spends time with his family, enjoys reading, exercising, traveling, and golf.
