About Alan Wise, MD

Dr. Alan Wise is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon in good standing with the American Board of Medical Specialties. He received his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Indiana University, Bloomington.

Dr. Wise completed an internship in General Surgery at OSF St. Francis Medical Center/ University of Illinois, Peoria and was elected chief resident, and then completed a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he was again the Chief Resident. His training is one of a thorough process combined with a straightforward and honest process involving safety, simplicity, and efficiency for the patient.

Dr. Wise is proud of the surgical treatments he offers, which enhance appearance and self-esteem using safe, reliable, and convenient techniques. He genuinely enjoys taking care of patients, discussing their desires and being attentive and compassionate to their needs, to achieve natural, predictable results.

When Dr. Wise is not practicing medicine, he enjoys studying world political history and the Civil War, painting, cooking, golfing, or enjoying nature, all of which he considers rewarding endeavors. He also donates to different charities such as Fisher House and Toys for Tots, which are in line with his philosophy of giving back to society.
