About Alan Tran, MD

Dr. Alan T. Tran is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon, as well as a general surgeon, who has been serving patients in Orange County since 2000. He is known for his artistry, careful attention to detail, and finely-calibrated hands, and is constantly applying the latest developments in the field of surgery, all while keeping a personal and compassionate touch.

Dr. Tran’s aesthetic practice is based on breast surgery, body contouring, and facial aesthetic procedures, where he devises individualized treatment programs for patients that include both surgical and non-surgical options in order to achieve natural, balanced results. In reconstructive surgery, he focuses on breast reconstructions, skin cancer defects, and adverse skin problems, carefully balancing surgical precision with aesthetic results.

His practice also has a deeply personal focus on caring for children with cleft lip and palate (CLP). Since 2002, Dr. Tran has dedicated a substantial part of his practice to these patients, caring for underserved children at White Memorial Medical Center in East Los Angeles, CA. He has also been involved in many international outreach programs where he has performed or enabled the ability to provide reconstructive surgery to children with similar congenital conditions all over the world.
