About Alan N. Larsen, MD

Dr. Alan N. Larsen is a highly skilled and double-boarded plastic surgeon located in Atlanta, Georgia, and is the founder of Buckhead Plastic Surgery, LUX Med Spa, and SLIM Studio CoolSculpting®, which provide comprehensive aesthetics services.

Dr. Larsen received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Nevada School of Medicine. He completed a five-year General Surgery residency at the University of Florida, Jacksonville, where he served as chief resident. Following this, he completed an unparalleled plastic surgery fellowship at Wake Forest University’s Baptist Hospital, finishing as chief plastic surgery resident in 1997.

With more than 25 years of surgical experience, Dr. Larsen has had surgical experience performing thousands of procedures, emphasizing facial rejuvenation, breast augmentation, and body contouring. His state-of-the-art practice is located in the distinguished area of Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia, and demonstrates his commitment to providing personalized, whole-body aesthetic care in a comfortable environment.

As a board-certified plastic surgeon by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Larsen adheres to the highest level of safety, skill, and ethics. Dr. Larsen is also an avid skier and has competed internationally, and enjoys photography, gardening, and keeping a reef aquarium.
