About Alan Bienstock, MD

Dr. Alan Bienstock is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon who is board-certified and has private practices in Princeton, New Jersey, and Manhattan, New York. He is known for his artistry and attention to detail while also providing caring and compassionate patient care.

Dr. Bienstock received his medical degree from Duke University Medical Center as well as completed a six-year plastic surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, which included training at the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical center in America. His training included all aspects of plastic surgery from aesthetic facial procedures such as BOTOX®, fillers, rhinoplasty, and body contouring to reconstructive surgery such as cleft lip repair, wound healing, and hand surgery.

Dr. Bienstock had eight months of experience at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, obtaining his training in microsurgery and breast reconstruction, which helped shape his reconstructive practice now.

Now in practice since 2005, Dr. Bienstock performs cosmetic procedures such as abdominoplasty, breast augmentation, upper and lower eyelid surgery and facial rejuvenation, and is further experienced in breast reconstruction as well as facial, hand, and pediatric reconstruction.

Dr. Bienstock is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgery and has a passion for achieving the natural, balanced results his patients seek and is designed for their individual goals.
