About Al Rosenthal, MD

Dr. Al Rosenthal is a plastic surgeon who is board-certified, with 30-plus years of expertise in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. He received his MD from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in 1984 and completed a General Surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh in 1991, and a Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Louisville in 1993, followed by a Fellowship in Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery and Burn Fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Since he opened Plastic Surgery of Gwinnett in 1995, Dr. Rosenthal has been committed to providing a patient-centered experience. He believes that everyone deserves the time and education to allow them to make an informed and confident decision about their care, in a setting based on respect, honesty, and communication, without pressure or marketing. He goes through every step of the surgical process with the patient to ensure that they feel a sense of support.

Dr. Rosenthal is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, has a certificate of added qualification in Hand Surgery, is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and is devoted to merging technical expertise with compassion to help a patient achieve the most natural and life-enhancing outcome possible.
