About Ajaya Kashyap, MD

Dr. Ajaya Kashyap is a Triple American Board-Certified surgeon specializing in Plastic Surgery, General Surgery, and Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine, with nearly 16 years of training and experience in the USA. His education and training were completed at some of the finest institutions, such as UCLA, the University of Pittsburgh, UMASS, Guthrie Clinics, and Lenox Hill Hospital. He returned to his native India in 2005 after serving umpteen terms as Assistant Professor at UMASS Medical Center/Medical School, where he spearheaded some research initiatives, published over 30 research publications, and won multiple awards in research and teaching excellence.

In India, Dr. Kashyap served as Director of Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery at some of the most prominent hospitals and organizations, such as Fortis, Apollo Hospital, Escorts, Columbia Asia Hospital, and Asian Hospitals. Most recently, he has been appointed as Medical Director of KAS Medical Center and Director of Plastic Surgery at MedSpa in New Delhi, where he has performed several advanced cosmetic and reconstructive procedures.

He has served as a featured surgeon on “Naya Roop Nayi Zindagi,” a makeover series from Sony TV, and has appeared on the Discovery Channel, CNN, and The Times of India. Dr. Kashyap also participates in social issues, such as reconstructive surgery for acid burn victims and children with deformities.
