About Ajay V. Kumar, MD

Dr. Ajay V. Kumar is a board-certified plastic surgeon with more than twenty years of experience helping patients develop a greater sense of self-confidence and happiness in their bodies. He is currently a member of the Mia Aesthetics team located in Baltimore, Maryland, recognized for his patient-first philosophy, along with being safe, artistic, and compassionate with every operation.

He completed his medical school education at the Medical College of Georgia, followed by residency training in general surgery at The Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He then completed a residency in plastic surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed a research fellowship in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Maxillofacial Surgery at Emory University.

Dr. Kumar specializes in body contouring procedures, such as the Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), breast augmentation, and liposuction. Dr. Kumar always prioritizes natural and proportionate results of the BBL, breast augmentation and liposuction. Dr. Kumar places a tremendous value on patient safety, comfort, and trust, and treats every patient like family from the time he meets with the patient until he sees them for their last follow-up appointment.

In his free time, Dr. Kumar enjoys cooking, cycling, and performing projects around the house, and applies the same meticulous attention to detail to his hobbies as he does in his surgical practice.
