Dr. Aisha McKnight Baron, also known as @breastnbodydoc, is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon and the founder of Breast Body Beauty Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in Marietta, Georgia, with a practice that serves the metro Atlanta area. She is one of a limited number of African American female plastic surgeons nationwide, and is particularly known for her expertise in cosmetic breast & body contouring, and microsurgical (DIEP flap) breast reconstruction.
Dr. Baron is a cancer survivor who truly understands the journey, both physically and emotionally, that each one of her patients goes through. This gives her firsthand insight into how to care for her patients in a compassionate manner and provide comfort and reassurance to each of them through their entire treatment.
Dr. Baron obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology (cum laude) with a minor in Spanish from Spelman College, which she followed with a medical degree from Meharry Medical College (magna cum laude), where she was class president. She then continued and became the first African American female resident to be accepted into the integrated plastic surgery program at Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Baron is also an Ambassador for BlackDoctor.org and a member of numerous academic and community organizations, and is committed to her mission of inspiring others through her humanitarian spirit, resiliency, and commitment to empowering women through beauty and healing.
