About Adolfo Sesto, MD

Dr. Adolfo Sesto is a notable Plastic, Reconstructive and General Surgeon with three decades of experience. He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo and completed his residency training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from the esteemed University of Guadalajara, Mexico. He completed advanced training at the Institute of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, known internationally for training under Dr. José Guerrerosantos. He contributed to early studies on fat transfer techniques (now a basis of modern aesthetic surgery).

Dr. Sesto pursued additional postgraduate training in the United States of America, where he honed his advanced plastic surgical skills. He was a pioneer in the Dominican Republic being the first surgeon to employ laser technology for cosmetic procedures, and was the first to perform endoscopic facial contouring surgery (1997). His work gained the attention of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, where he was the first Dominican to gain membership/ be recognized.

Dr. Sesto is known for his careful attention to detail and his results in body contouring/ liposuction, breast surgery and facial rejuvenation.
