About Adam Hauch, MD

Dr. Adam Hauch, a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Ochsner Health, delivers expert, compassionate care in aesthetic surgery and reconstruction. Dr. Hauch’s dual certification as a Diplomate by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery allows him a unique, holistic approach to combining precise surgical technique, artistry and a patient-driven relationship.

Dr. Hauch graduated from the University of Southern California, where he continued and completed general surgery training at Tulane University in New Orleans. He then completed his residency in plastic surgery at the University of California, San Diego, before pursuing advanced fellowship training in aesthetic surgery and reconstructive microsurgery at Louisiana State University. His education and incredible surgical skill equip Dr. Hauch to take on complex cases, from cosmetic enhancement to reconstruction of the breast after cancer or trauma.

Dr. Hauch has a special interest in aesthetic surgery, performing numerous surgical and non-surgical aesthetic procedures. He is also very proficient in performing reconstructive microsurgery, breast reconstruction, and limb reconstruction. Dr. Hauch is known to be thoughtful and compassionate, and always looks to restore not just form, but also confidence, to help his patients feel whole again.

Outside of the operating room, Dr. Hauch loves to golf and spend time with his family.
