About Adam Boettcher, MD

Dr. Adam Boettcher is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is also an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He joined Plastic Surgeons of Northern Arizona (PSNA) in 2012 and has been providing competent, compassionate care to patients in Flagstaff, Sedona, and Prescott since that time.

Originally from Minnesota, Dr. Boettcher graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northwestern College in Saint Paul before graduating from the University of Minnesota Medical School. He then completed a very intense integrated plastic surgery residency in Michigan at one of the top programs in the country.

Dr. Boettcher’s philosophy of surgery can be articulated in three parts: precision, artistry, and compassion. At PSNA, he has a diverse plastic surgery practice that includes facelifts, tummy tucks, breast augmentation, and facial trauma repair, as well as hand reconstruction and breast reconstruction surgery. His passion for taking patients through their procedure, with discussion on what will be achieved and then ensuring they achieve it post-operatively, is evident in the way he practices personalized medicine to create the best path for patients to regain their function or confidence.

Away from medicine, Dr. Boettcher loves coaching soccer, skiing, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two children. He has taught himself how to play guitar and enjoys listening to a variety of rock and pop music, as evident in his upbeat OR playlists!
