Board-certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Adam Bauermeister has a specific focus on cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body. Dr. Bauermeister is recognized for his precise technique and sympathetic disposition, performing surgical and non-surgical treatments based on each patient’s specific anatomy and goals. His philosophy is guided by a spirit of collaboration, helping patients look naturally refreshed and confident while not changing who they are.
A Midwesterner at heart, Dr. Bauermeister earned his Bachelor of Science in molecular and cellular biology, chemistry, and psychology, and Doctor of Medicine at the University of Illinois. He then finished his general surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic and completed plastic and reconstructive surgery training at the University of Tennessee.
As an active researcher and educator, Dr. Bauermeister is a national presenter and a prolific author in peer-reviewed journals, receiving multiple awards for his/devoted to art and academics. His advanced training in reconstructive trauma and oncologic surgery emphasizes his mindfulness of form and function.
Now practicing in South Florida, Dr. Bauermeister utilizes art and science to achieve safe, natural, and individualized results. Outside of medicine, he enjoys family, travel, fitness, art, and design.
