About Aamod Rao, MD

Dr. Aamod Rao is prominent aesthetic surgeon in Mumbai who skillfully melds artistry with surgical precision. Over the last twenty years, with over 3000 surgeries to his name, he has established himself as one of the foremost cosmetic surgeons in India. Dr. Rao is a third generation artist, and the grandson of the celebrated painter K.K. Hebbar. Dr. Aamod Rao started his surgical training at KIMS Hospital and Research Centre in Bangalore and then moved to Bombay Hospital & Research Centre, where he completed his training in Advanced Plastic Surgery. He then completed a fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery at PUCRS University in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and then went on to train in Aesthetic Medicine at the Empire Medical Training Centre in the USA.

He focuses on facial aesthetic surgery, body contouring and aesthetic non-surgical procedures. He is especially noted for his high definition liposculpting and autologous fat transfer, where fat is taken from one part of the body to enhance the breasts and buttocks.
