About Dr. Ashutosh Kaul

Dr. Ashutosh Kaul, MD, FACS, FRCS, FASMBS, ABOM, is an accomplished minimally invasive, robotic, and bariatric surgeon whose skillset has gained him a prominent reputation in surgery. As a Professor of Surgery at New York Medical College and the Director of Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery at Westchester Medical Center. Furthermore, through his extensive experience performing advanced open abdominal procedures, Dr. Kaul is known for developing new and innovative surgical techniques that have resulted in improved overall quality of life for patients following surgery.

Dr. Kaul received his MBBS degree from L.L.R.M Medical College in Meerut, India and completed postgraduate surgical training at PGIMER in Chandigarh. He also completed a second residency in General Surgery at Saint Barnabas Medical Center and Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center. Following this, he completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery in New York City.

Dr. Kaul has received numerous accolades and recognitions throughout his career; he currently holds Board Certification in Addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, a Fellow of the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
