Dr. Ashley N. Sachtleben is a board-certified general surgeon with a focus on providing high-quality, patient-centered surgical care. Dr. Sachtleben graduated from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008, where she received a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree and developed a strong foundation in comprehensive medical/surgical treatment and whole-person care.
Dr. Sachtleben is a board-certified surgeon by the American Osteopathic Association Board of Surgery and has an active Michigan Medical license as well as privileges to perform surgery at both the Munson Medical Center and the Aleda E. Lutz Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Traverse City. She provides surgical care to a diverse patient population, including many veterans. Dr. Sachtleben has demonstrated a commitment to the development of innovative healthcare and quality improvement through earning both the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Meaningful Use Stage 1 and Meaningful Use Stage 2 certifications for her use of electronic health records to improve clinical efficiency and engage patients.
Dr. Sachtleben is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), demonstrating her commitment to uphold professional standards and continuing education. Dr. Sachtleben provides compassionate and high-quality care while striving for excellence in all aspects of her surgical practice.
