About Dr. Arturo Armando Cazarez Ramirez, MD

Dr. Cazarez Ramirez, MD, is board-certified in General Surgery with a specialty in Bariatric Surgery and minimally invasive surgical techniques. He completed his medical training with a medical degree (Médico Cirujano y Partero) from Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, which provided him a solid foundation in clinical medicine and surgical principles. He completed his General Surgery residency within the Mexican public health system, providing him with a wealth of experience performing advanced laparoscopic surgical procedures.

Dr. Cazarez Ramirez has completed additional postgraduate training in the field of bariatric and metabolic surgery with a focus on utilizing modern laparoscopic surgical techniques to improve outcomes, reduce surgical recovery time, and assist patients in long term success with weight management. Dr. Cazarez Ramirez also has clinical expertise in performing Gastric Sleeve and Gastric Bypass surgeries, as well as performing revision bariatric surgery for patients who have previously undergone a bariatric surgical procedure and are in need of a correcting or post-operative surgical procedure.

Dr. Cazarez Ramirez is certified by the Mexican Board of General Surgery and participates actively in professional organizations that are dedicated to advancing the fields of obesity treatment and metabolic health.
