Dr. Andrew M. DeWitt, MD, is an experienced general surgeon who has a board-certification from the American Board of Surgery and has been practicing in Birmingham, AL, US since 1994. He works hard to provide exceptional patient care with high standards of professionalism and has received thorough training in numerous areas of general surgery.

Dr. DeWitt received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1994. After completing his residency in General Surgery at the Physician’s Medical Center Carraway in Birmingham (1994-1999), Dr. DeWitt acquired extensive experience and expertise through a wide variety of surgical procedures and types of patient care.

Dr. DeWitt maintains active medical licensure in the state of Alabama to sustain his ability to provide surgical care of the highest quality. Throughout his training and practice, Dr. DeWitt has gained a significant amount of knowledge about all aspects of general surgery and patient management.
