Dr. Andrew J. Aldridge, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon with years of experience in advanced surgical procedure techniques. He earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 1997 and completed his General Surgery residency at the same institution from 1997 to 2002.
Dr. Aldridge is a board-certified surgeon by the American Board of Surgery and currently holds an active medical license in Arizona. He is an active member of the American College of Surgeons (ACS), a reflection of his dedication to performing surgery at the highest possible level.
Throughout the course of his career, Dr. Aldridge has contributed to research through numerous publications and has over 100 citations in journals such as The European Journal of Surgery, where he has researched septic shock, adult respiratory distress syndrome, and colorectal adenoma assessment, among others. This provides evidence of Dr. Aldridge’s desire to help to advance surgical knowledge as well as improve patient outcomes.
In addition to being an experienced surgeon, Dr. Aldridge has very successfully embraced current healthcare technology. He has multiple (CMS) Meaningful Use Certifications for EHR systems. This affirms his desire to incorporate digital tools into the surgical delivery of care for better patient care.
