Dr. Aileen A. Murphy graduated from Touro University California and will receive her Board certification from the American Board of Surgery. He is a general surgeon with extensive training in advanced gastrointestinal surgical techniques and Minimally Invasive Surgery after completing a fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University.
Dr. Murphy has completed her residency program in General Surgery, most recently at Kern Medical Center and is currently licensed to practice in California and Oregon. Dr. Murphy’s focus is on performing surgeries using minimally invasive techniques while always keeping an emphasis on patient safety and evidence-based clinical care.
Dr. Murphy has also been an accomplished writer and speaker in the area of community education about cancer and health prevention initiatives through health care media outlets. Additionally, Dr. Murphy is committed to developing and promoting out-of-hospital patient recovery through thoughtful surgical planning and by continuing to develop as a professional.
In addition to the above, Dr. Murphy is a member of several professional societies, including the American College of Surgeons (ACS), the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), and the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES).
