About Dr. Aaron B. Hoffman, FACS, MD

Dr. Aaron B. Hoffman, a surgeon and board-certified Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), is a highly skilled surgeon who specializes in advanced laparoscopic surgical procedures. He focuses primarily on the treatment of obesity and reflux disease, including the creation of the LINX device for restrained reflux. Dr. Hoffman also specializes in laparoscopic hernia repair and minimally invasive gastrointestinal procedures, which provide patients with safe and innovative surgical options.

Dr. Hoffman earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine, where he completed his residency in General Surgery. In 2007, he completed further training through a fellowship in Minimally Invasive/Bariatric Surgery at North Shore University Hospital/Long Island Jewish Health System – Syosset Laparoscopy Center in Syosset, NY, where he learned advanced surgical techniques for laparoscopic and robot-assisted surgeries.

As a board-certified surgeon, Dr. Hoffman combines his technical expertise with a patient-centered approach to provide tailored, individualized care to each patient undergoing surgery. He utilizes a thorough pre-operative evaluation, education and support throughout the surgical experience.
